Leanne Tremblay

Leanne is an experienced communicator, avid traveler and lover of all things outdoors. Having moved more times than she can count, Leanne has always returned to Halifax and is excited for her favourite city’s future.

Jackie Nguyen
Vice Chair

Jackie is passionate about population health and creating supportive environments where the healthy choice is the easier choice. A proud Haligonian, born and raised, Jackie is constantly excited about what her city has on offer.


Sara Espinal Henao
Corporate Secretary

Originally from Colombia, Sara moved to Canada at the age of 16. She completed a Bachelor of Arts and obtained her law degree from McGill University. Now an Articled Clerk at Cox & Palmer, she is thrilled to call Halifax her new home and is excited to contribute to the growth and success of this beautiful city.

Devon Reynolds
Director, Member Relations

Devon is a sales/recruiting professional who has experience in many different fields. After obtaining a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from University of Waterloo, she moved to Halifax and has enjoyed life here ever since. Devon has a passion for networking, problem solving and finding the right fit for the right people. In her spare time, she is an avid Ultimate Frisbee player and loves to explore local restaurants across Nova Scotia.

Lindsey McIntyre
Director, Marketing & Communications

Lindsey is an experienced communicator/marketer who has dabbled in many different industries – from cosmetics to radio to telecommunications. She is passionate about social media, writing and loves a good brainstorming session. When not working, she loves nothing more than eating good food and listening to good music.

Jack Dallaire
Director, Development

Jack recently completed his MBA from Dalhousie University’s Rowe School of Business and has a BBA from The University of New Brunswick. He currently works as an Associate in M&A advisory for a leading Canadian financial institution. His previous experience includes working in corporate development for a publicly traded media company. Jack is passionate about all things business and finance related and is excited to contribute to Atlantic Canada’s continued growth.

Mahbubur Rahman


Mahbubur is recently awarded as Top 25 immigrants of the Maritimes who came to Halifax five years back from Bangladesh. While completing his Masters of Civil Engineering at Dalhousie University, he was the Vice President(Finance & Operations) of Dalhousie’s Student Union. He was also honoured with the Dalhousie Board of Governors Award. As an active volunteer in the Halifax community, he was recognized by the Province of Nova Scotia & HRM with at the 2017 Volunteer Awards. He is happy to call Halifax his new home and enjoys exploring the city with his wife and two children.
Emily Seaman
Director of Programming
Emily’s love for learning is what allows her to think creatively and tackle projects with a fresh perspective every time.
She’s got a pulse on all things digital, in her work-life she’s always researching new approaches to digital solutions for clients. You could say, she’s the one with the plan. The person who’s keeping an eye on all the moving pieces within a project and making sure they come together.
Lydia Phillip
Lydia is passionate about leadership and creating a positive social impact through advocacy and education. She believes in community-building and creating equitable opportunities through her work in the nonprofit sector. Lydia believes that Fusion’s mission will help to foster motivated, determined young leaders who will serve to better our city. When she’s not in the office or volunteering, Lydia can be found teaching people how to fly gliders, learning how to snowboard, or catching up on all her Netflix shows!
Rohan Narang
Rohan is a CPA who has worked in the world of professional services, digital media and government. In his free time, he likes volunteering, connecting with people, expanding his learning through new experiences as well as nurturing his new-found love of travel. He believes in the strength of communities and is excited for the growth that Halifax is poised for.

Corinne Abraham

Director of Programming

Corinne is a multifaceted MBA graduate working in the financial industry for over 12 years. A lifelong Halifax resident who loves to travel and support the arts community. Corinne wants to participate in the rebuilding of the Halifax and Nova Scotian economy by empowering our young professionals to stay and thrive here in Halifax. She is a results-oriented leader with a strong work ethic and exceptional interpersonal skills, a dedicated problem solver and team player with an inherent desire to perform at the highest level possible.

Cory Porteous
Director of Programming

Cory is passionate about learning, exploring and the outdoors. Motivated by the satisfaction of solving a stubborn problem, he is excited by the opportunity to use that passion to help create a Halifax we can all enjoy for years to come.
