Leanne is an experienced communicator, avid traveler and lover of all things outdoors. Having moved more times than she can count, Leanne has always returned to Halifax and is excited for her favourite city’s future.

Shauna Smith
Director of Strategy

In 2012, Shauna moved from St. John’s to Halifax to pursue a Master’s degree in psychology, and was immediately attracted to the vibrant city. Passionate about professional and career development, she works at a professional services firm that helps to recruit, develop and optimize talent.

Rohan Rajpal

Rohan is an Articled Clerk with McInnes Cooper. He is the winner of the 2015 Nova Scotia Barristers Society Leadership award and is passionate about multiculturalism, technology and the outdoors.

Matthew Burke

An Accounting professional with a keen interest in entrepreneurship, Matt has recently completed his MBA. Having lived and worked most of his life in Dartmouth and Halifax, he volunteers with a number of different organizations to help make our communities a better place to live.

Barrinique moved to Halifax from the Bahamas to pursue a Bachelor of Commerce in Entrepreneurship. Barrinique is passionate about engaging people, planing events, personal development and helping individuals realize their full potential.

Jeremy is a music producer and entrepreneur based in Halifax since 2013. He is the owner of the classical record label Leaf Music. He has also worked in the NS Film and TV Industry and loves the diversity of Arts and Culture in Halifax.

Between painting pianos for the waterfront and organizing adventures, you can find Jeremy contributing to community planning at WSP, or completing his thesis at Dalhousie University’s School of Planning. Jeremy is excited to explore all things urban in Halifax.
