The Social Shift Screening
In the summer of 2016 Common Good Solutions (CGS) started a video series highlighting local social enterprises and social-purpose businesses called “Stories for the Common Good”, but that wasn’t big enough. CGS co-founder David Upton tasked three go-getters with capturing stories of social enterprises and social-purpose businesses nationwide, and so The Social Shift was born. The motivation behind creating and sharing this film is to begin inspiring and engaging the next generation of citizens and business owners to not only seek profit and personal gain, but community good.

Through recurring gatherings at various local bars, coffee shops, and restaurants, this series will celebrate our members by offering them a platform to spotlight their work and developing expertise. The structured portion of each event will highlight one member of Fusion, providing them the opportunity to speak and answer questions about what they do. Then, the floor is yours to meet and chat with other members in an unstructured, informal setting.
